We love throwing hot tub parties with our friends! Hanging out in the warm water is a fun way to get out of the house and enjoy being outside — especially since this extra long winter has had us cooped up indoors. At the end of the night though, there always seems to be a big pile of wet towels that … dampens … our mood when guests leave. Is it rude to ask friends to bring their own towels?

Sincerely,

Dear Laundry,

There’s nothing wrong with a BYOT policy — that’s Bring Your Own Towels! By asking guests to bring their own towels, you can save yourself the trouble of another full load of laundry after the party. So what about those guests who have been regulars in your hot tub, can you ask them out of the blue to start bringing towels? Of course! Tag a BYOT onto your next invitation; a simple, “Don’t forget your towels and swimsuits for the hot tub,” can get guests excited for the soak while reminding them to bring their own towels. One of the best things about having a hot tub from Dream Maker Spas is how simple your spa is to maintain so that you can spend more time enjoying it, and we say spread this simplicity to other areas of your life too!

Best,
