Even though the summer months can bring extreme heat, your hot tub can still be a cool place to unwind. Adjusting the water temperature to be below your body temperature, by about 92-95 degrees, can instantly provide a cooler soothing soak.

This can be done by simply leaving the cover off in the morning, or before you call it a night while letting the air jets run. Reducing the water temperature also reduces the overall energy consumption, leading to lower electric bills.

Keep in mind that hot tubs are insulated, so once the desired temperature is reached, keeping the tub covered will help maintain the temperature.

Who knew soaking in the summer could be so cool!
