The New Year is around the corner, and with it plenty of resolutions to improve our lives. With just a few days left in 2016, though, we’ve decided to really enjoy ourselves — with the help of our hot tubs — before buckling down January first.

1) Eat up!

Cutting calories starts January first, but until then, we’re not going to stop ourselves! It’s still technically the holidays, so we’re taking a little holiday from stressing about what we eat. Instead, we’re going to grill up some savory treats that are easy to toss on the ‘barbie while we’re soaking in the spa. Grilled pizza… flank steak… some sweet and smoky chicken… yes please! These recipes are easy to prepare ahead. Then preheat your grill and bring them out with you when you’re ready for a soak. You’ll have plenty of time for a warm water massage in your hot tub while dinner cooks on the grill.

2) Stay up late

We said in the New Year we’d finally start hitting the hay at a reasonable hour. Early to bed and early to rise is the trajectory for 2017, but until then… we’re not leaving the ultimate relaxation of our hot tub early to get to bed. You see, this time of the year is undeniably the best for stargazing. We’ll be laying out under the stars looking up into a crisp winter sky and picking out constellations while massage jets soothe our muscles. In 2017 we’ll vow to get our beauty rest, but until then we’ll be enjoying the beauty of the night sky instead.

3) Sit back and relax

According to Neilson, the most popular New Year’s Resolution is to stay fit and healthy — by joining a gym, going for more runs, going to those yoga classes, or being more active all over. We’re excited for the active lifestyle we’re embracing in 2017! We can’t wait to have more energy, climb stairs without being winded, and feel more confident trying on clothes. But in these last days of December, when the Christmas leftovers are still in the fridge, all we honestly want to do is relax. The gym will still be there next week. That yoga class will be waiting. Today seems like a great day to get outside, breathe in some fresh air, and unwind from the holiday stress in the inviting waters of a hot tub. 4) Stay at home

One of the most popular New Year’s Resolutions is to travel more. So while we’ll probably be planning a trip in 2017, right now is the perfect time for us to enjoy all the comforts of home. We’ll truly be enjoying some quiet time in the warm waters of our spa. 5) Clear your head

Another common New Year’s Resolution fits in the category of learning something new. For some it’s a language, for others it’s how to play an instrument. However you’re planning on stretching your mind in the New Year, one thing’s for certain… right now’s the perfect time to clear your head! As the sun rises on 2017, you’ll be hitting the books, so why not enjoy yourself now and get some much needed rest and relaxation?
