Dream Maker Spas are designed to be easy to maintain so that your whole family can spend more time enjoying the spa! Do you want to have the family involved in caring for the spa? Here are some simple tasks that your kids can help out with:

  1. Keep cover clean
Keeping debris off the spa cover can help it look newer longer. One responsibility for the kids can be to remove any twigs, leaves, or pine needles whenever they see them on the spa cover. You can also teach them how to wipe the cover clean using a damp soft cloth — an easy way to keep sap and pollen off the cover.
  2. Skim any pine needles, pollen, or leaves out of the spa water
While your family is enjoying the spa, a leaf or other debris may fall into the water. You can teach kids to skim the spa water after using the spa and before putting the cover back on. This helps ensure that the water is clean for the next time you’re ready to get in!
  3. Wipe down spa shell and steps with damp soft cloth
Your spa’s Syncrylic shell doesn’t require much to stay radiant! An occasional wipe-down with a soft, damp cloth can keep it lustrous. The kids can use a microfiber cloth to wipe away any spots or smudges from the shell to have it sparkling in no time.
  4. Hose filter cartridge
The filter cartridge is designed to be easy to remove and clean. Help your kids remove the filter cartridge and teach them how to clean it with a hose to remove debris from the pleats. Then you can help them replace the filter, and the chore is done!

Note: Spa chemicals should be kept away from children for their safety. Water maintenance is a responsibility best left to the adults. Parents should supervise whenever children are in and around the hot tub.
